This is where I do 90% of my bird photography through the winter moths, I have setup a feeding station together with a permanent hide specifically for bird photography. It was back in February 2024 when I had the idea of setting up a permanent hide,  back then I was using one of those  popup hide's  to get my video footage  & stills,  but as the winter months went on it began to get colder and the hide by this time had sprung a few leak's,  and by now I was starting to feel very uncomfortable, also my kit was getting wet on most auctions    so through the spring & summer I decided to build a small shed on some privately owned land, so I got in touch with the farmer Sue Williams and her grandson Ben William's who give me permission to go ahead.  

So this was my first winter its now February 2025 and I've been very pleased with the images I have taken, I was surprised with the winter migrants that turned  up  like  Brambling,  Fieldfare,   Redwing,  accompanied  by the resident woodland birds,  below are some images from the winter feeding station.
