My Landscape Prints.
Brecon Beacons.
I began my Landscape photography around 10 years ago, the reason for the switch from bird photography to landscape, was because for years I've been working these hills from my early 20s onwards, I was a much younger man back then, so 10 years ago I was 54 I was still relatively fit and able to clime and work these beautiful peaks and hills. so I realised if I was going to photograph different areas of the Beacons it would have to be now while I was still fairly fit, it wasn't the working, it was the Weight of the equipment, I was carrying around 10KG, and after working a mile or-so suddenly it felt like 20KG.
It was the shear vastness of the Beacons that struck me when I first walked this beautiful landscape, its cascading waterfalls with it's gin clear water's, and moss covered stone's its brooks and streams that are interwoven among these hills are spectacular. I think I managed to photograph the places where I walked in my 20s, nothing has change up here and lets hope it stays that way.
